Split between London and Manchester, Meadow Meadow are the latest talent to be swept under on-the-pulse label, management and PR company Practise Music's wing. Serving as a reputable source for excellent new music, the independently run operation has worked with Woman's Hour, Squid and deep tan to name a few. Recorded remotely, 'Bonzo' is the first tune that band members Peter Darlington and James Green ever wrote. Introducing the world to their blissed-out take on textural electronic folk-pop, it's a delightfully mellow cut that shines with a nostalgic summer glow. Peter elaborates: “Bonzo was the first song we wrote together that we felt captured the direction of where we wanted to go creatively. It’s about an experience I had riding a bus in the evening to my old hometown that I hadn’t visited for a few years.
